CEO Masterclass 2 Recap: What the Outsourcing Process Actually Looks Like

In the second installment of our CEO Masterclass series, we brought together real-world insights from both sides of the outsourcing relationship. CEO Mike Dershowitz and Delivery Director Aldo Garcilita, joined forces to pull back the curtain on how outsourcing works—and how to make it successful from day one.

This session covered what many businesses are asking: What does the outsourcing process really look like in practice? 


Setting the Strategy with CEO Mike Dershowitz 

Mike kicked off the session by helping attendees reframe how they think about outsourcing—not as a cost-cutting tactic, but as a tool for better business design. He encouraged leaders to look at their internal systems and ask: 

  • What workflows are underperforming? 

  • Where are my high-skill people doing low-skill work? 

  • What’s not core to my business, and could be done more efficiently elsewhere? 

Mike emphasized that outsourcing isn’t about removing jobs—it’s about relieving pressure from overworked teams and allowing internal staff to focus on high-impact work. 


Operational Alignment: Where It All Starts
